Credence is delighted to announce Wubanchi Shiferaw and Michelle Gallagher have both been elevated to the position of Principal within our rapidly growing firm.
Shiferaw joined Credence in 2014 as a project accountant in a department that had only two other employees. She now oversees our entire accounting operation and leads a team that has grown to 17 as Credence’s revenue soared from $21M in 2014 to more than $500M. Shiferaw holds a Master of Business Administration from the James Madison University School of Business and received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University.
Gallagher has been with Credence since 2016, and under her guidance, the finance department has helped steer Credence through a period of 600% growth. As part of her leadership of the finance team, Gallagher has managed some of our largest contract transitions, including the startup of a $900M project for the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance that required hiring and onboarding nearly 500 employees in four weeks. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Cal State Fullerton and just earned her Master of Business Administration from the James Madison University School of Business.
“Wuba and Michelle are both part of the bedrock of Credence, not only because of their tenure and contributions, but also because of their ability to work in a team environment following our culture of servant leadership,” said Credence Founder and CEO Sid Chowdhary. “They have been instrumental in Credence growing from a startup into one of the largest privately held government services firms in the nation. Prashant Gaur and I are honored to have them in the senior ranks of our Credence team as we look toward continued growth and expansion into new mission areas.”
