Credence supports defense, civilian, and intelligence agencies to meet their health-related goals by providing subject matter expertise in data analytics, clinical analytics and intelligence, healthcare IT, medical imaging, and medical data standards.
National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI), Data Analytics
Credence provides the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) / Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) NCMI with analytic applications for intelligence analysis, assisting the Center to meet its changing mission needs, technology requirements, and policies. As a Science and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) component of the DIA, NCMI’s core mission areas are infectious disease and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) health hazards; environmental health; and foreign medical infrastructure, health systems, and military medical capabilities. Credence supports the delivery of advanced medical intelligence analytic systems by providing application development; software engineering; system integration; database administration and data services; web development, services, and operations; as well as tools and methods to improve analytic workflow, visualization, exploitation, and analysis of data sets. The systems operation and sustainment will meet mission needs and performance benchmarks, facilitating the analytic and dissemination process of intelligence assessments.
Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)
Credence provides technical support, including Automated Information Systems Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Information Assurance (IA) support, to the BUMED and all field activities under BUMED jurisdiction during the incremental development, proliferation, and sustainment of the following systems: DMLSS, Standard Procurement System (SPS), and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Our team also ensures functional sustainment support is provided to all DMLSS sites and non-DMLSS sites in preparation for DMLSS site solutions.
Medical Pre-Screening Technical Demonstration Technical Support
In support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Accessioning Process for the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM), Credence provided innovative technical, engineering, and program management expertise. Our team designed and developed capabilities to capture applicant biometric information, obtain electronic data from connected medical devices, and serve as the foundation for each Military Member’s electronic health record (EHR) / electronic medical record (EMR). We provided an end-to-end healthcare solution for the medical pre-screening, medical examinations and consultations, laboratory testing, and health analytics to capture applicants’ health information as part of U.S. Military Accessions. Our expertise facilitated the automation of administrative and clinical processes for more than 500,000 U.S. Military applicants per year.
Global Health
Our dedicated, global workforce supports USAID’s international development and humanitarian assistance, and our defense customers, to address a variety of global health challenges related to eradicating infectious diseases; nutrition; maternal and child health; sanitation and hygiene; HIV/AIDS; emergency response (including COVID-19 and 24/7 support); environmental health; foreign medical infrastructure; and the effective use of data analytics in health program design and implementation. As a result, our team bolsters technical leadership, accelerates innovation, and increases science and technology capabilities on a variety of global health program initiatives.
USAID Global Health Technical Professionals Program Support
Credence supports the USAID Global Health (GH) Bureau’s commitment to improving global health outcomes in communities around the world by providing technical professionals at all career stages for posts both in Washington, D.C. and abroad. Our global health professionals augment the Agency’s programs addressing its three strategic priorities, including preventing child and maternal deaths, controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and combating infectious diseases. Our global health professionals help improve the technical abilities of USAID offices, teams, and working groups by bolstering technical leadership, accelerating innovation, increasing science and technology capabilities, and providing acquisition and additional services on a variety of global health program initiatives for USAID’s humanitarian assistance response and international development initiatives. USAID Global Health Training, Advisory, and Support Contract (GHTASC)
Credence supports the Bureau for Global health (GH) in leading the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) global health programming and outbreak response with a focus on preventing child and maternal deaths, controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and combating infectious diseases. GH had identified institutional support and professional development reform as a priority to further USAID’s Transformation Agenda and GH’s Transformation Plan that includes the goals of developing agile workforce management structures and investing in a more nimble and diverse workforce. USAID Ebola Response and Recovery Support Program
As part of the response to the West Africa Ebola outbreak, Credence supported USAID by playing an integral role in the response and recovery efforts of the disease in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Our team led the health communications and outreach efforts between USAID HQ, its Missions, and other global health donors and implementers. To aid the recovery effort, Credence and USAID promoted continued collaboration and coordination among donors by providing detailed activities and identifying opportunities to leverage donor resources. Our experts were on the front lines of the recovery effort, collecting monitoring and evaluating health system surveillance data in all three countries.
Patient Safety Program Support
The Air Force Patient Safety Program (PSP) is dedicated to providing safe, effective, evidence-based healthcare. With staff located at 76 locations across the globe, Credence provides project management, program integration, clinical, educational, and research support. We assist the Government with the establishment and operation of the Air Force Medical Service PSP at the MTF level, including helping educate staff on key patient safety principles; assisting with facility-wide implementation of healthcare team training; staying abreast of national patient safety initiatives; aiding in the implementation of performance improvements leading to the formulation of policies and processes that facilitate safer care; guiding organizational changes; and helping administer day-to-day PSP operations encompassing all aspects of inpatient, ambulatory care, and support functions.
Military Health
For both Civilian and Defense agencies with health-related missions, Credence's expertise covers behavioral and psychological health; emergency response; health science; biomedical research; patient safety; military and national health systems; chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) health hazards; health policy; and health-related grant making. Our subject matter experts provide technical leadership and innovation for our customers both CONUS and OCONUS.
Defense Health Agency (DHA) Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) Support Program
Within DHA, TBICoE’s (formerly DVBIC) mission is to serve active duty service members, veterans, and their beneficiaries with traumatic brain injuries through state-of-the-art clinical care, innovative clinical research initiatives and educational programs, and support for force health protection services. Credence provides logistical and operational support to DVBIC, including executive assistance, strategic communications, research database management, public affairs/communications management, education/training, and personnel management/human resource support.
DHA Program Management Office (PMO) Support to the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE)
Credence supports the development of a comprehensive plan on the prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, treatment, rehabilitation, and research of traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental health conditions in members of the Armed Forces. Additional focus is placed on the planning for the seamless transition of such members from care through the DoD to care through the Veterans’ Affairs (VA). Credence staff is also supporting research, program coordination of internal and external stakeholders, strategic communications, management of possible risks and issues, and program maintenance and maintenance tasks.
Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) Cadre of Experts
Since 2012, Credence has supported the YRRP training program, which supports the reintegration of troops into family and society and prepares them emotionally for redeployment. A cadre of 40 facilitation and training experts provide more than 500 trainings annually across the continental U.S. on topics such as financial planning, communication, and the emotional cycle of deployment, as well as 40 additional topics. By providing the skills to utilize all the reintegration resources available to our military personnel, Credence helps them provide their families with the financial security and benefits they have been fighting to preserve. Our team has supported more than 90,000 participants during the last 8+ years, with a majority reporting that YRRP events and services resulted in a positive change for them and their families. We work collaboratively with OSD-Reserve Affairs and Penn State University to develop standardized curriculum modules and facilitate annual Train-the-Trainers workshops to guide and update our cadre in creating and implementing new and improved curricula year after year.
