OTAs

Credence has joined the Consortium for Command, Control and Communications in Cyberspace (C5); the Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium; and the System of Systems Consortium (SOSSEC). C5 helps Government program managers identify, acquire, demonstrate, and transition innovative Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and cyber technologies to the Warfighter using Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). The IWRP Consortium uses an OTA collaboration to engage industry and academia to develop and mature technologies in the field of information warfare that enhance Navy and Marine Corps mission effectiveness, focusing on underlying technologies that advance information warfare capabilities through a consortium that can support research, development, and prototyping. The SOSSEC Consortium provides technical performance of research and development as well as prototype development to address the needs of the C4ISR, Cyber, and Homeland Defense communities primarily within the Department of Defense through OTAs. Both C5 and SOSSEC provide its members and eligible Government agencies a flexible and user-friendly pathway for rapid acquisition, linking buyers and sellers of innovation, and broadening the technology base to include non-traditional defense contractors and small businesses.
