November 15, 2021 — Credence Management Solutions was awarded a position in the Research and Support Pools on GSA’s ASTRO Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract vehicle. We are proud to support the Department of Defense throughout the 10-year ordering period on this new and exciting GSA FEDSIM vehicle. Potential tasks under the ASTRO contract include operations, readiness, development, research and development, and systems integration of manned, unmanned, and optionally manned systems, robotics, and platforms, as well as the services that support those systems, robotics, and platforms within the realm of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR).

Credence Team Victorious at the AWS Summit Game Day!

On Monday, September 27th, 2021, Ellis Coleman, Rachit Bhagat, Sushav Dixit, Mahesh Thapa-Adhikari, and Joseph Kim came together to represent Credence at the AWS Public Sector Summit’s Game Day. They teamed up on a collaborative learning exercise to test cloud migration skills in implementing AWS solutions for a fictional start-up. The team members hands-on experience included:

Identifying inventory and assessing configurations
Scaling infrastructure
Maintaining a secure environment through access methods and encryption
Deploying tactics like instance optimization and cost management tools to make the migration more cost-effective

Unlike the migrations they perform, the Game Day challenge was risk-free because the team worked with actual systems and tools to configure, scale, secure, and manage, but if anything went wrong then there were no networks or systems compromised. These activities helped the team members see the challenges that some Cloud Engineers face and the solutions used to address them.

At the end, the team was victorious placing first in the challenge!

Unrestricted Award to Migrate DLA Classified Applications to AWS Secret Region Cloud

September 13, 2021 — Credence Management Solutions, LLC is honored to have been selected by the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to migrate all DLA classified applications to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Impact Level 6 (IL-6) accredited cloud. This is an unrestricted task order that builds upon Credence’s success migrating and managing DoD mission essential and mission-critical applications on AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The scope of work is to migrate DLA applications from DLA and DISA data centers to the AWS Secret Region Cloud. The AWS Secret Region is an IL-6 accredited Cloud approved to secure classified DoD information up to the Secret level. After migrating the classified workloads, Credence will optimize and manage each of the applications and associated environments.

Credence to Continue and Expand Cybersecurity Services for DLA Systems Worldwide

November 24, 2020 — Credence recently received an award to expand its cybersecurity offerings for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations (J6). The DLA provides global logistics support for the U.S. Armed Forces, and the DLA J6 provides comprehensive Information Technology (IT) support for the Department of Defense (DoD) and DLA worldwide. Credence cyber experts will use advanced vulnerability analysis techniques and remote access technologies to secure and monitor DLA systems across global networks. They will help integrate the DLA operational environment with IT system capabilities and will provide the full scope of Information Assurance capabilities to safeguard concurrent data streams on distributed DLA networks. Credence Awarded PSS Unrestricted Contract to Provide Technical Advisor Expertise for Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in United States Air Force (USAF) Pilot Training

September 28, 2020 — Credence is honored to receive an unrestricted task order award to provide technical advisory expertise for Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in United States Air Force (USAF) pilot training at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). Our team will be responsible for providing technical advice for development, design, and review for the Pilot Training Next (PTN) training. PTN’s mission is providing rapid and innovative training for pilots to expand their capabilities and ensure mission-success.

July 1, 2020 — Credence is pleased to announce a recent award from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide Cloud Managed Hosting Services for Joint Contingency & Expeditionary Services (JCXS) application under PIEE infrastructure. In utilizing the Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud environment, our team will migrate various JCXS environments for Development, Test, Production and Disaster Recovery (DR)/Continuity of Operations (COOP) to Credence managed AWS GovCloud enclave. Credence will also provide project management oversight and ensure the performance of JCXS application in AWS Cloud Environment at the optimum levels.
