A HOUSE THAT SMELLS OF HOLIDAY
The need to switch off for a while is getting stronger, especially after this last year which has led us to face new challenges and readjust to an uncomfortable everyday life. But to experience a modicum of normality, the time has come to spend some time on vacation, even better if in a small house owned by the sea, with all the comforts for a family.
What are the ideal characteristics to create a style that tastes of the sea?
We start from the same color palette adapted in every room: the shades of green are reminiscent of nature, the different shades of blue reflect the color of the sea, while the shades of white are reminiscent of sand.
Outside, create a small wild oasis with succulent or typical plants that can survive 365 days and place wooden armchairs to enjoy the sound of the waves as you dip your feet in the warm sand and observe the sea. If space permits, an extendable table with matching chairs cannot be missing to enjoy moments of conviviality in peace.
Bring the sea air also into the individual rooms, for example by painting the window frames with a blue tint as if to frame the sky and aiming for natural materials for the furnishings such as wood, rattan and straw for accessories. such as lamps or wall mirrors. Instead, play with dark blue fabrics for cushions and rugs that break the rigor of white and wink at the depths of the sea.
For the sleeping area, prefer simple and functional furnishings, where the bed is the only protagonist of the room, flanked by small bedside tables to place the book to read on the beach.
Hanging lights and wardrobes hidden by curtains and not doors that weigh down everything, and that's it.
Ready for the holidays? We do!
